About Coleman - Crouch - Roddy - Smith Family SC

I began the research into my family genealogy with a photograph of my GGFather Jacob Wesley Crouch in his Civil War Uniform. My Uncle gave each of the baby boom generation grandchildren a copy of the photo for Christmas. This triggered a memory of my Grandmother - Minnie Mae Crouch Coleman - who adored her father - Granddaddy Jake Crouch - she would tell us grandchildren many stories of him - she had his Civil War Uniform in an old trunk. This trunk was so fascinating to us kids - it contained land grants from the King of England and many other valuable family treasures. This trunk has been lost over several moves but it was the beginning of my interest in the Family and where we all fit in - where we have been -and where we are going....if any of the information helps you in your search for your ancestors - or if you find any discrepancies in the names - dates - places, etc. feel free to contact me - I know some of my information may be off a year or two... I love to find the long lost cousins... thank you and enjoy. Marsha Coleman
